Residential ProgramThe Arc of Central Virginia offers residential programs to help families maintain individuals with disabilities in a community setting.Respite Program •Provides families of individuals attending the Day Support Program with the opportunity to attend to other family business •Provides families with a break from the daily care of an individual with disabilities. •Services are provided evenings, week-ends, or whenever the day support program is not in session In-Home Support •Provides the individual with additional training in the home to learn new skills and increase independence.•Acts as a supplement to the services and training families provide on a day to day basis Sponsored Residential Program •Gives individuals the opportunity to live in a family home in the community while receiving assistance, supervision and monitoring from The Arc. •The Arc assures that the homes meet state regulations •Home providers care for the daily needs of the individuals placed in their home, while receiving compensation from The Arc.For more information contact: Karen Wilder |
